(Saint) Bishop (February 17) (7th century) He is said by some to have been at one time Bishop of Toulouse; but it is certain that he came to the North of France about A.D. 674, and acted as Bishop of Terouanne over the country round Saint Omer. It is recorded of him that he spent his whole fortune in ransoming the Christians carried off into slavery in their inroads by the neighbouring Barbarian tribes.
