(Serf, Sair) (Saint) (July 1) (5th century) The Apostle of the Orkney Isles, consecrated Bishop by Saint Palladius. The traditions concerning him are very vague and contradictory. From a connection asserted between Saint Servan and Saint Kentigern, it may reasonably be inferred that there were two Saints of the former name, and that the one lived a century later than the other.
