(Saint) Bishop, Martyr (August 24) (1st century) The disciple and successor of Saint Ptolemy, Bishop of Nepi in Tuscany, whither, according to tradition, they had both been sent as missionaries by Saint Peter the Apostle. The one and the other are alleged to have suffered martyrdom before the close of the first century.
