(Saints) Martyrs (July 23) (5th century) Natives of Great Britain who took refuge in Normandy about the middle of the fifth century from the Anglo-Saxon invaders of their country. They lived there as hermits until put to death by order of the Governor (or subordinate magistrate) of Neustria, who appears to have been still a Pagan.
