(Saint) Martyr (March 30) (2nd century) A Roman Official who was in charge of the prison in which Pope Saint Alexander was confined. The holy Pontiff succeeded in converting to Christianity Quirinus, with his whole household. Shortly afterwards, Quirinus was arrested, put to the torture and beheaded (A.D. 117), under the Emperor Hadrian.
