(Saint) (June 14) (7th century) Of Irish or Scottish descent, and a disciple of Saint Brendan. He passed into France and lived an austere life as a hermit near Limoges. He died in the closing years of the seventh century. That he is other than Saint Saumay seems the most probable supposition in order to reconcile the various accounts given of Saint Psalmodius, though the lives coincide in various details.
