(Saint) Martyr (June 1) (4th century) A Martyr held in high veneration at Bologna, where he laid down his life for Christ in the persecution under the Emperors Diocletian and Maximian Herculeus (A.D. 304). We have no authentic details, but modern research has fairly fixed the date and place as above.
