(Saint) Bishop, Martyr (December 1) (6th century) A Bishop in Central Italy, either of Terni or of Narni. He appears to have been a notable personage of his time. He came into contact with Totila, King of the Goths, when the latter was ravaging Italy, and it is generally admitted that he met his death at the hands of this despoiler of his flock.
