(Saint) Martyr (July 8) (4th century) A Palestinian Christian, a Lector or Reader and Interpreter in the Church of Scythopolis. Arrested during the persecution under Diocletian, he was brought to Caesarea, where he boldly confessed the Faith before his judges and was sentenced and executed (A.D. 303).
