(Saint) Virgin Martyr (January 18) (3rd century) A Roman maiden, a fervent Christian, put to the torture and at last beheaded, under the Emperor Claudius II, about A.D. 270. A church dedicated to Saint Prisca exists in Rome, where she is held in very great veneration. She is, of course, other than the Priscilla mentioned in Holy Scripture (Romans 16:3; Acts 18:2,26), though Relics of the latter are enshrined in the Roman church of Saint Prisca.
