(Saint) Bishop, Martyr (February 24) (6th century) A Bishop of Rouen (France) who, for his courage in denouncing the crimes of the notorious Queen Fredegonda, was sent into banishment and, after his recall, put to death by her orders on the steps of the Altar in his own church (A.D. 586).
