(Polin, Pewlin, Paul Hen) (Saint) (November 23) (5th century) A famous Welsh Abbot, pupil of Saint Illtyd, celebrated both for piety and learning. At his monastery, Whitland (Caermarthen) he had among his disciples Saint David and Saint Teilo. He died at a great age some time in the sixth century.
