(Saint) Virgin (August 26) (9th century) Born in Scotland or Ireland, she was the victim of a persecution which forced her to take refuge in England. There she lived a holy life in the nunnery of Ettisley in Cambridgeshire. The parish church at that place is dedicated to her. A.D. 904 is given as the date of her death.
