Book of Saints – Oncho

(Onchuo) (Saint) (February 8) (6th or 7th century) An Irish pilgrim and Saint, who was also a poet, a guardian of sacred traditions and a collector of holy relics in Ireland. While pursuing his search for memorials of the Saints, he died at Clonmore monastery, then governed by Saint Maidoc, and his body was there enshrined together with the Relics he had gathered together in life.
