(Saint) Bishop (October 29) (3rd century) A Bishop of Jerusalem, an account of some of whose miracles is given by the historian Eusebius. Saint Narcissus is said to have been considerably more than one hundred years old when he died. Though already in his eightieth year when made Bishop, he was energetic as a Pastor of souls, and even (A.D. 195) presided over a Council of the Bishops of Palestine.
