(Saints) Martyrs (January 18) (3rd century) Two Christian soldiers arrested as Christians in the Province of Pontus in the Decian persecution (A.D. 250). Their sentence was at first only to forced labour for life in the mines, but it appears to have been revised by the Imperial authorities, and they were adjudged to undergo capital punishment like the greater part of their co-religionists. They were burned alive in the following year.
