(Saint) Martyr (March 1) (9th century) A Saint trained up by Saint Adrian of Saint Andrews, and a missionary in the country about the Firth of Forth. With six thousand other Christians he was slain by the heathen Danes (A.D. 874). His shrine was famous for the miracles wrought there.
