(Saint) Virgin (July 5) (9th century) An Irish Saint who, coming to England, founded the Abbey of Polesworth in Warwickshire. Most probably she flourished in the ninth century, but there is much confusion in Ecclesiastical history between her and other holy women of the same or similar name.
