(October 6) (4th century) Under the title of the “Innumerable Martyrs,” Holy Church commemorates a multitude of Christians, done to death at Treves in Germany, in the persecution under Diocletian and Maximian Herculeus, towards the close of the third century, Rictius Varus being at the time Prefect of the Gauls.
