Book of Saints – Martyrs of Cappadocia


CAPPADOCIA (MARTYRS OF) (May 23) (4th century) A number of Asiatic Christians put to death for their religion by Galerius, colleague of the Emperor Diocletian (A.D. 303). As in other cases, the Ecclesiastical Chronicles put much stress on the frightful tortures to which they were subjected, to try their Faith previous to their execution.
