Book of Saints – Manakus


(Manaccus) (Saint) Abbot (October 14) (6th century) A Welsh Saint, Abbot at Holyhead, connected with Saint Cybi. He appears thence to have come to Cornwall, where he died. Manaccan (Minster), near Falmouth, is said to owe its name to him.
