Book of Saints – Madelgisilus


(Saint) (May 30) (7th century) An Irish Saint, disciple and trusted confidant of Saint Fursey. After some vears of monastic life at Saint Riquier, he, together with Saint Pulgan, retired to a hermitage, near Monstrelet, where he passed away, famous for the miracles he had wrought (A.D. 655).
