(Blessed) Widow (March 15) (17th century) The holy widow who, zealously working with him, enabled Saint Vincent de Paul to establish the celebrated Institute of the Sisters of Charity. After her husband’s death she devoted the rest of her life to the service of the poor and of the sick. She passed away at Paris (A.D. 1660) and was beatified by Pope Benedict XV (1920).
