Book of Saints – Liberata


(Saint) Virgin (January 18) (6th century) A Saint of Como in the North of Italy, where she, with her sister Saint Faustina, founded a monastery for the strict observance of the Benedictine Rule. They died within a few days of one another (A.D. 581). Their relics were afterwards (A.D. 1317) enshrined in the Cathedral of Como.
