(Saint) (March 23) (18th century) A Spanish priest, the son of poor parents at Barcelona, where he died (A.D. 1702) at the age of fifty-two. He gave his whole life to the practice of austerities and to the conve ng of sinners. Beloved by all at Barcelona, life and after death, he was in popular veneration as a Saint, and the many supernatural gifts bestowed upon him by Almighty Goa witnessed to the truth of the popular belief.
