(Blessed) Bishop (April 17) (12th century) A nobleman of Cremona who became a Benedictine monk and afterwards Bishop of Vicenza, in the North of Italy. He was a model pastor, and in the end met his death (A.D. 1181) at the hands of certain evildoers whom he, as in duty bound, had sought to correct and convert.
