Book of Saints – Gracilianus and Felicissima


(August 12) (Saints) Martyrs (4th century) Gracilianus, a Christian of Faleria, an old Tuscan town, since destroyed, suffered in the great persecution in the first years of the fourth century. It is related how, whilst in prison, a widow brought to him her blind daughter, Felicissima, to whom he miraculously restored her sight and gave Holy Baptism. Gracilianus and his convert were beheaded on the same day.
