(Saint) Martyr (June 7) (11th century) The son of the chief of one of the Sclavonic tribes who distinguished himself greatly in battle, and becoming a Christian. devoted himself to the spreading of the Faith among the heathens on the shores of the Baltic. He was murdered in a church by the Pagans, A.D. 1066.
