Book of Saints – Glodesind


(Saint) Virgin (July 25) (7th century) A French Saint of Merovingian times. Betrothed to a young noble, her promised husband was arrested on their wedding day and afterwards condemned and executed. Glodesind took refuge in the cloister, and died Abbess of a convent at Metz (A.D. 608) in great fame of sanctity.
