(Saint) Bishop, Martyr (May 9) (6th century) A Bishop of Cervia, near Ravenna, who attended a Synod held in Rome by Pope Symmachus (A.D. 501) and who was attacked and murdered on his return journey, at Cagli on the Flaminian Way, under circumstances which led to his being honoured as a Martyr.
