Book of Saints – Fremund


(Saint) Martyr (May 11) (9th century) An Anglo-Saxon Hermit, possibly of the Royal Family of Mercia, who seems to have been done to death by the Danish invaders of England, and to have thenceforward been honoured as a Martyr. His remains were enshrined at Dunstable.
