Book of Saints – Eutropius – 12 January


EUTROPIUS (Saint) Martyr (January 12) (5th century) A Lector or Reader of the Church of Constantinople, who was put to death with Saint Tygrius and many others on account of their loyalty to Saint John Chrysostom after that great Saint had been driven into exile. Saint Eutropius died in prison from the consequences of the torture to which he had been subjected (A.D. 405).
