Book of Saints – Eusignius


EUSIGNIUS (Saint) Martyr (August 5) (4th century) An old soldier of the army of Constantius Chlorus who, surviving to the age of one hundred and ten years, refused to sacrifice to idols at the bidding of Julian the Apostate, and was scourged and beheaded as a Christian at Antioch in Syria (A.D. 362).
