EUSEBIUS (Saint) (January 30) (9th century) A Saint who, leaving Ireland, repaired to the monastery of Saint Gall (Switzerland), where he practised great mortification, was gifted with prophecy and miracles, and by his sanctity attracted the veneration even of the princes and nobles of his time. — Another Saint Eusebius of the same or earlier date is also in honour as a monk of Saint Gall, and is said to have suffered martyrdom. But particulars are lacking and dates quite uncertain.
