Book of Saints – Ethernan


ETHERNAN (Saint) Bishop (December 3) (Date uncertain) A native of Scotland who studied in Ireland, and was there consecrated Bishop. He devoted his life to missionary work in his own country, and after his holy death was venerated by the Scots as a Saint. His Festival and Office has a place in the old Aberdeen Breviary.
