Book of Saints – Erentrude


ERENTRUDE (ARNDRUDA) (Saint) Virgin (June 30) (7th century) An Irish Saint, sister of Saint Rupert, who accompanied him to his Apostolate in South Germany, and for whom he built the monastery of Nimberg near Salzburg. In the eleventh century the Emperor Saint Henry rebuilt her church and shrine.
