Book of Saints – Edwold


EDWOLD (Saint) (November 27) (9th century) The brother of Saint Edmund the Martyr, King of East Anglia. He lived an austere life as a hermit at Cerne in Dorsetshire in the latter half of the ninth century, and after his death was venerated as a Saint.
