Book of Saints – Conon – 6 March


CONON (Saint) Martyr (March 6) (3rd century) A poor gardener, a Christian from Nazareth in Galilee, who, in Pamphylia (Asia Minor) or, as others say, in the Island of Cyprus, suffered a barbarous martyrdom (A.D. 250). Nails were driven through his ankles, and he was forced to run before a chariot till he fell dying to be crushed by its wheels.
