Book of Saints – Caraunus


CARAUNUS (CHERON) (Saint) Martyr (May 28) (1st century) A Roman by birth who embraced the Christian Faith in the Apostolic Age. The tradition is that he was ordained deacon, and having gone to Gaul as a missionary, suffered martyrdom near Chartres under Domitian (A.D. 98).
