Book of Saints – Caesarius

CAESARIUS (Saint) Martyr (December 28) (4th century) A Christian who suffered at Arabissa in Armenia under Galerius Maximus (A.D. 309 about). He was the father of Eudoxius, the notorious Arian, nor had his own past life been irreproachable. But by his courage at the stake, to which he was nailed by the feet, he atoned for his past misconduct, in the eyes of his fellow-Christians, who reverently interred his half-charred remains.
