(Saint) (September 2) (13th century) The successor of Saint Berthold in the government of the Hermits of Mount Carmel. At his request Saint Albert Patriarch of Jerusalem drew up for them the Rule under which they developed in the West into the Order of Mount Carmel. Saint Brocard died early in the thirteenth century.
