Book of Saints – Breaca


BREACA (BREAGUE) (Saint) Virgin (June 4) (6th century) She is said to have gone from Ireland to Cornwall about the year 460, with several companions, and to have landed on the Eastern bank of the river Hayle. Several of the holy maidens were slain by King Theodoric or Tewder. Saint Breague lived the life of a solitary, and died in the early part of the sixth century in high repute of sanctity.
