Book of Saints – Bonosa


BONOSA (Saint) Virgin Martyr (July 15) (3rd century) Martyred at Porto Romano, at the mouth of the Tiber, under Severus (A.D. 207), with her brother Eutropius, and her sister Zozima. Modern discoveries made at Porto Romano go to negative the old opinion post-dating the martyrdom of Saint Bonosa to the time of the Emperor Aurelian.
