Book of Saints – Boniface – 14 March


BONIFACE (Saint) Bishop (March 14) (7th century) A leader of a band of missionaries sent from Rome to evangelise the Picts and Scots. He is venerated as Bishop of Ross, and is said to have founded one hundred and fifty churches. He passed away about A.D. 630.
