Book of Saints – Bodfan

BODFAN (BODUAN) (Saint) (7th century) The Patron Saint of Abern in Carnarvon. He is believed to have flourished in the seventh century, but we have no particulars of his life, except the tradition that the great inundation which formed Beaumaris Bay impelled him, with his father and some other relatives, to embrace the Religious life.
