Book of Saints – Bodagisil


BODAGISIL (Saint) (December 18) (6th century) A noble Frank who, after a life spent in the service of his King and country, founded a monastery on the banks of the Meuse, where he died (A.D. 588). Venantius Fortunatus, Saint Gregory of Tours, and other contemporary writers are loud in the praises of his sanctity.
