Book of Saints – Baya and Maura

BAYA and MAURA (Saints) Virgins (November 2) (10th century) Two holy Recluses in Scotland, Saint Baya being the instructress of Saint Maura, and the latter becoming the guide of a fervent community which attached itself to her. There is some doubt whether or not Saint Baya may not be identical with Saint Begha or Saint Bee, a Saint much better known.
