Book of Saints – Barrog


BARROG (BARRWG) (Saint) Hermit. (September 20) (7th century) A disciple of the great Welsh Saint Cadoc, who had left his name (often spelled Barruc or Barnoch) to Barry Island, off the coast of Glamorgan, where he lived a holy life as an anchoret in the seventh century.
