Book of Saints – Aristion


ARISTION (Saint) (February 22) (1st century) One of the seventy-two disciples of Our Lord. He is mentioned in the Acts of Saint Barnabas as a companion of the deacon Timon, in the latter’s Apostolic labours in the Island of Cyprus. According to the Greek Menology Saint Aristion was martyred at Alexandria; according to others, at Salamis in Cyprus.
