ARIANUS, THEOTYCHUS and OTHERS (Saints) Martyrs (March 8) (3rd century) Arianus, Governor of Thebes (Egypt), with Theotychus and three others, was converted to Christianity on witnessing at Alexandria the martyrdom of Saint Apollonius and Saint Philemon. The judge ordered them to be drowned in the sea. There is a legend that their bodies were brought ashore by dolphins.
